Research and planning: Decided genre of music magazine

I have had a bit of trouble in making decissions on what my music magazine genre should be based on:
I had to choose from pop and RnB as they are both my favourite genere, however I have decided to go with rnb because I relate more to it than to pop, and because I have a better view and understanding of rnb than pop.
  my colour scheme will remain the same the layout and style will remain as planned and organized from the start my style models and related magazine will stay same because I find that they relate more to rnb than pop.
 in other words everything I have done from the start to the completion of my music magazine was done with RNB genre and the style model for my music magazine was RNB stars magazine .
