Evaluation Question 2-How does your media product represent particular social groups ?

How dose the product represents a particular target audience?
for my comparison I have used Beyonce  rnb star from vibe magazine cover on the right to my model on the left.
Posture/Gesture: both models have what I like to refer to as 'woman power' they both are giving attitude and wear slightly revealing  clothes as if to say 'I don't care what people think I own myself, man cant control me'. They are both standing, equally look strong and defensive, they both like accessories and have a good taste in clothing.

Angles/shot types/ lightening: I have a long shot of my model while beyonce is an extreme mid-shot and I choose long shot because  it shows the models outfit and full characteristics. I have used high key lightening in other to show her facial expressions and full figure giving out more information in details and I also used eye level shot in order to capture the image clearly and directly like that in the vibe magazine.

Costume/hair/make-up:the two photos of both models equally have well applied make up matching their outfits, they both have dark hair this make the face stand out more and gives away facial expressions. both models from my image and the magazine use accessories to style up their outfit and get a bit of glamour going, their outfits are similar as they are both revealing in a way making a statement not caring what others think and just being themselves. They both also look very feminine and their outfit represents and presents them to have strong feminine looks but definitely not vulnerable like stereotyped female characters.

Expressions: both models from the different images demonstrates a nonchalant attitude but beyonce gives more attitude in her expressions meanwhile my model has a little cheeky smile on her face as if she is teasing. The expressions both suit the images differently in relation to their outfits, make up, accessories, hair, posture and gesture in other words my model has a lot of similarities as the model from the vibe magazine.
This can be seen as representing a social group of teenagers and young adults as the tend to change the stereotypical view about women and how they are viewed in society they take up unconventional roles and make a difference they are also less likely to be vulnerable, more defensive and  very determined.
